Ambassador Program
With grant support from National Audubon, PVAS started a Burrowing Owl
Ambassador Program for local community college students in 2022. Ambassadors gain field experience monitoring the owls with our experienced monitors and assessing the quality of owl habitat. In addition, they can polish their outreach skills at public events and social media contacts. PVAS members are actively involved with the Ambassadors and their projects.
